Turf Specialties Texas (TST), LLC strives to provide its customers with the highest level of service and best aeration practices to improve growing conditions and enhance turf quality, while reducing stress on the customers labor and equipment. This philosophy and work ethic were instilled in the TST owners by their mentor, Tommy St. Romain, the inventor of the Aeromax deep tine aerator and original owner of Turf Specialties, Inc.
In 2019 while aerating a small 9-hole course in Spring, Texas a mechanical issue arose but was quickly remedied by the Course Manager named Max. Tommy recognized Max’s mechanical aptitude and asked if he would be interested in learning more about deep tine aerating working occasionally when Tommy needed an additional crew. That chance encounter and subsequent working relationship, combined with Tommy’s decision to retire his business beyond his Lake Charles, Louisiana home, led to Max’s
family purchasing the company.
Today Turf Specialties Texas, LLC continues to use only the best turf aeration equipment in the industry for its services. Jacobsen purchased the Aeromax patent and implemented the design into the new GA series Jacobsen aerator. TST maintains their equipment at the highest level and best practices to ensure customer satisfaction.

The Perfect Strike technology is important for the new ultra-dwarf turfgrasses and was designed specifically for this purpose. The new Aer Strike technology is a first in the industry and can complete two different aeration procedures in one step.
